The process is extremely critical for the Bank due to its nature and as it must adhere to the NACH Procedural Guidelines developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). The process involved handling a large volume of files that needs to be downloaded from the Central Bank’s website and further processed in the CBS. It was extremely manual, time consuming and repetitive, consisting of multiple process scenarios, time norms and different file types.
