On October 25, 2022, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the new edition of the standard was published to replace the 2013 version. ISO/IEC 27002:2022 is a standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to ensure the safety and security of confidential information. ISO 27001 and 27002 are complementary or inter-related to one another.
