IDP and Workflow Automation for a leading Wholesale Bank in Saudi Arabia

10xDS delivered end-to-end automation concept for a leading wholesale Bank in Saudi Arabia for extracting data from paper-based forms for further entry and processing through Core Banking System(CBS). Entering information from paper forms into CBS was time-consuming and prone to human mistakes. In periods of high production, more workers were needed to do the same tedious activities. Using Microsoft-based tools including SharePoint, AI Builder, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams, 10xDS optimised the process and developed a workflow to facilitate it. Upon receipt, the Bank’s front desk staff scans and uploads the forms. The solution is able to recognise the forms and extract the necessary data in both English and Arabic. Based on the file extension of the submitted document, the solution initiates the appropriate workflow. The Document Processing Group is alerted, and they have a direct link in Microsoft Teams to retrieve the extracted data for verification purposes. The Document Validation interface provides a side-by-side view of the original document and the extracted data, allowing for speedy verification. Afterward, BOTs powered by Power Automate enter the extracted, structured data into the CBS. There was a drastic cutback in processing time, lower operating costs with enhanced performance, and fewer errors overall, assuring superior quality and precision.
