Automation for Vulnerability Management Process

10xDS successfully delivered a Vulnerability Management solution that automated the process of managing all the reported vulnerabilities from periodic vulnerability scans for a leading Media Industry brand in the Middle East. Before automation, vulnerability scan reports were manually processed and tracked using disparate tools and spreadsheets, leading to a lack of centralization and clear accountability. Delays in assigning vulnerabilities to responsible individuals caused unpatched vulnerabilities and a disorganized approach exposed organization to potential security threats and hindered their ability to maintain a robust security posture. The Power Platform-based application had options to upload vulnerability scan reports and to assign vulnerabilities to specific users and the system was able to identify duplicate vulnerabilities and update the history. Real-time notifications via email and Microsoft Teams on assigned vulnerabilities and impending deadlines and escalation to higher management for vulnerabilities approaching their deadline without resolution helped track actions on a timely basis. The application also had a dashboard that provides an at-a-glance view of the organization’s security status.
