10xDS automated instant card activation process for a major private sector bank

The client, a major private sector bank in South India, faced the challenge of increased processing time for instant card activations, taking more than 24 hours. The client was looking for opportunities to improve its process and Robotic Process Automation supported the goals of a non-invasive process to increase efficiency and reduce processing time. 10xDS holistically assessed the needs of the Bank and developed and deployed a robotized process to streamline and transform the process. Some of the activities involved in the solution included reading the list of new cards to be activated from the database, generating file to upload, check sum file, logging-in & uploading file to internal application, notifying stakeholders the status of upload by email etc. The solution allows the bank to provide better service to its customers ensuring that the cards are activated on the same day.
