Deep learning module developed by 10xDS to help Healthcare sector in knee injury diagnosis
10xDS developed an advanced deep learning model that can help the medical officials in diagnostics of knee Injury. The model helps classify MRI Images into any of the 3 classes: Abnormal, Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), and Meniscus. The module specifically focusses on the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tears that are the most common knee injuries among top athletes. Interpretation of knee MRI is time-intensive and subject to diagnostic errors and variability. An automated system for interpreting this type of image data could prioritize high risk patients and assist clinicians in making diagnoses. Moreover, a system that produces less false positives is very advantageous because it eliminates the risk of performing unnecessary invasive knee surgeries.
