Manual tracking and updating were laborious, involving printouts from the Property Management System for guest details, manual marking of dine-in information, and then posting it in the finance system based on these records. With an average of 100-150 guests daily per center, this process took about two hours, especially during breakfast when the volume was higher. The lack of a real-time system for tracking dine-in guests led to unauthorized usage, with employees misusing dine-in vouchers for ineligible guests, causing financial losses and eroding customer trust due to fraudulent redemptions.

10xDS crafted a robust solution concept to bring in operational control to curb fraudulent activities along with real-time tracking. The system seamlessly integrated with the hotel’s booking system to fetch guest details, ensuring that dine-in vouchers were only accessible to eligible, long-staying guests. An innovative OTP-based process was implemented for dine-in discounts, adding security and ensuring only authorized guests could redeem vouchers. The system performed an end-of-day download of billing details related to the vouchers, facilitating reconciliation, identifying irregularities, and providing insights. This solution prevented unauthorized voucher usage, reduced financial losses from fraudulent redemptions, enhanced customer trust with a secure redemption process, and improved operational efficiency with a transparent overview of redemptions.
