10xDS developed and delivered an automated solution to streamline the AGIS (Advanced Global Intercompany System) creation process, enabling efficient recording, management, and reporting of intercompany transactions for one of the largest and most diversified maritime and logistics companies in the Middle East. AGIS is the module in Oracle Fusion used to manage intercompany transactions.
Business Challenges
Extracting Trial Balances from Oracle Fusion for each legal entity is a repetitive process. Mapping allocation data, such as Receiver Accounting, BU, and Amount, using external tools like Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) is time-consuming. Additionally, manually filling in AGIS batch templates increases the risk of data entry errors, especially in high-volume transactions.
How 10xDS Helped
10xDS designed and implemented an RPA solution to streamline the process by automating key tasks. The solution extracts the Trial Balance using predefined parameters, prepares the mapping file based on allocation rules, and populates the AGIS file with cost allocation details using data from the Trial Balance and mapping file. Finally, it generates and sends AGIS reports to the designated person. This automation significantly reduced man-hours spent on the process, minimized handling time, and enabled touchless execution of repetitive tasks.
