Any manufactured food products and drugs entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia need to undergo an approval process from SFDA. There were high chances of shipments being stopped for delayed request processing and approvals. There were errors in the request submitted in SFDA site due to manual copy paste actions resulting in discrepancies.
Solution
10xDS automation solution streamlined the whole SFDA approval process. BOT frequently monitors the receipt of the invoices, enters required information from the invoice and captures the pre-notification number and updates the numbers against the respective POs. The solution enabled faster and timely processing of approval requests. The flow of information from processing team to transport team, became seamless. The solution avoided the risk of shipments being halted at the border. The process became touchless, eliminating manual effort.
